Food & Wine Tour Details
Embark on a food tour of Tenerife's famous guachinches. Pick-up at your hotel will start the day at Casa del Vino in El Sauzal, a wine lover's destination featuring a museum, wine cellar, and restaurant in a 17th-century Canarian hacienda. There, you will taste three Tenerife wines—red, rosé, and white—while learning about the island's winemaking heritage, accompanied by a selection of local cheeses.
Next, visit Bodegas Monje winery, established in 1750, for a tour and a tasting of three glasses of your choice from the youngest wines, paired with three snacks. The tour then continues to a traditional guachinche, where you'll enjoy dishes such as grilled cheese with mojo sauce, escaldón, papas arrugadas with mojo, huevos al estampido, and ropa vieja, all served with exquisite wines.
Finally, the bus will return to the starting point. The tour duration, including hotel transfer, ranges from 6 to 19 hours, depending on the hotel's location.
