This food tour of Tenerife's guachinches begins with pickup at your hotel. The first stop is the Casa del Vino in El Sauzal, featuring a museum, wine cellar, and restaurant in a 17th-century Canarian hacienda.
At the Casa del Vino, enjoy three Tenerife wines - red, rosé, and white, paired with a selection of local cheeses. Insights into the island's winemaking heritage will be shared during the tasting.
Next, we'll visit Bodegas Monje, established in 1750, where you will have three glasses of your choice of young wines with three snacks.
The tour continues to a guachinche, where a traditional menu awaits you, including grilled cheese with mojo sauce, escaldón, papas arrugadas, huevos al estampido, and ropa vieja, all paired with local wines.
The tour duration, including return transfer, varies between 6 and 19 hours depending on hotel location.
