Experience a food tour of Tenerife's famous guachinches. The day begins with hotel pickup and a visit to the Casa del Vino in El Sauzal, a location featuring a museum, wine cellar, and restaurant in a 17th-century Canarian hacienda. Here, sample three types of Tenerife wines—red, rosé, and white—paired with local cheeses while learning about the island's winemaking heritage.
Following the wine experience, the tour will continue to Santa Ursula for lunch at guachinche Casa Lito, where a traditional menu includes grilled cheese with mojo sauce, escaldón, papas arrugadas, huevos al estampido, and ropa vieja.
Next, visit guachinche Don Trino for an array of Canarian meats such as churrascos, chops, and rabbit dishes. The culinary journey concludes at Bodegas Monje, a historic winery established in 1750, where you will tour the vineyard and enjoy a glass of sweet wine paired with coffee.
The total duration of this guachinche adventure is between six to ten hours, depending on your accommodation location.
