Food & Wine Tour Details

Prepare for a flavorful journey as we set off on a food tour of Tenerife's celebrated guachinches! Your experience begins with a hotel pickup, followed by an exciting visit to the Casa del Vino in El Sauzal. This venue is a haven for wine enthusiasts, featuring a museum, wine cellar, and restaurant nestled in a quaint 17th-century Canarian hacienda.

Next, we'll proceed to the Bodegas Monje winery, dating back to 1750. You will have the opportunity to explore its facilities and enjoy three glasses of your chosen young wines, complemented by three thoughtfully paired snacks.

Our journey continues to a classic guachinche. Here, enjoy a menu showcasing local flavors, including grilled cheese with mojo sauce, escaldón (a corn-based dish), papas arrugadas ("wrinkly potatoes") served with mojo sauce, huevos al estampido (spicy eggs), and ropa vieja (shredded beef in a tomato-based sauce). Each dish is paired with exceptional wines.

To wrap up the day, we will board our bus for the return to the starting point. The total duration of our tour of guachinches, including the hotel transfer, will range from 6 to 19 hours, depending on your hotel's location.
