Experience the vibrant culture and charm of Paraguay by crossing the border on this day excursion to Ciudad del Este, a city full of unique attractions, at your own pace.
Day Trip to Ciudad del Este
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Puerto Iguazú between 7:30 am and 8:00 am, after which we will embark on our journey towards Ciudad del Este.
After approximately one hour, we will reach Paraguay’s second-largest city, situated at the notable Triple Frontier, where the borders of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay converge. You will be dropped off in the area between Monseñor Rodríguez Street and Dr. Luis Maria Argaña Avenue, granting you two and a half hours of free time to immerse yourself in the local environment.
During your visit, you might want to indulge in some shopping, admire local landmarks such as the San Blas parish, or stroll over to the renowned Friendship Bridge, which links the city to the Brazilian municipality of Foz do Iguaçu. The vistas over the Paraná River are truly breathtaking!
We will gather again at 1:00 pm to commence our return to Puerto Iguazú, with drop-offs at your hotels expected around 2:00 pm.
Pickup Location or Meeting Point
This excursion includes a pickup service from hotels situated in the center of Puerto Iguazú. When making your reservation, there is also an option for pickup at the Meliá Hotel. Should you be located elsewhere or prefer an alternative meeting location, please proceed to the ACA petrol station in Puerto Iguazú.
Regardless of your choice, we will reach out to you post-booking to confirm your specific pickup time for each location.
