Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Jangadero, 136 and proceed to the Iryapú Natural Reserve in the Paranaense rainforest.
This natural space covers 600 hectares (1,482 acres) where we will embark on a nighttime hike. The tour includes exploration of the customs and traditions of the indigenous Mbya-Guaraní peoples in the area.
The hike, which has a lower difficulty level, covers a total distance of 4 km (2.48 miles). Participants will observe various large trees, including rosewoods, guatambus, and cedars, as well as strangler fig trees and multiple species of palm trees, ferns, orchids, and fruit trees.
During the tour, expect to see numerous animal species such as coatis, weasels, cai monkeys, southern tamanduas, short-tailed opossums, and snakes. Attention may also reveal frogs, spiders, and a variety of insects. To protect the environment, any litter encountered will be collected using a designated bag.
We will conclude the hike by returning to the starting point, followed by our return to the meeting location in Puerto Iguazú after approximately 2 hours.
