Let yourself be enchanted by the breathtaking Moconá Falls on our day trip to these waterfalls in the Argentine province of Misiones. You'll see how the rushing water plunges over a fault line at this incredible place.
Moconá Falls Day Trip
At the indicated time, we'll set off from your hotel in Puerto Iguazú for the Moconá Provincial Park. This natural area is the second-most visited park of its kind in Misiones after the Iguazú National Park.
We'll head straight to the Moconá Falls on the Uruguay River, which delimit the border between Argentina and Brazil. The water plunges over a geological fault, creating a longitudinal cut on the river.
These waterfalls, at a height of between 16 (5 metres) and 33 feet (10 metres), extend across almost 2 miles (3 kilometres) through the natural space that includes the Yabotí Biosphere Reserve and the Paraná rainforest.
During our visit, you can explore the Moconá Visitor Centre to learn more about the waterfalls and enjoy around 2 hours of free time for lunch at its restaurant.
In the evening, we will return to your hotel in Puerto Iguazú, dropping you off at 8 pm.
Fancy a Boat Trip Too?
If you'd like, you can book the option that includes a boat trip along the Moconá Falls. This 20-minute trip allows you to sail close to the waterfalls and experience their strength. The entrance fee to the Moconá Provincial Park is included with this option.
