Cheese & Yoghurt Workshop in Puerto Inca
We'll begin our trip by meeting at 8 am at the Hospedaje Los Incas to start this gastronomic experience.
First, we'll head to a family dairy in Puerto Inca, where we will learn about cow care and milking methods.
After milking, we'll take a lunch break. Soon after, we'll attend a master class on preserving milk and its derivatives. We'll then prepare the milk we collected and make cheese and yoghurt using traditional methods, without additives or chemicals.
After packing the dairy products, we'll wait for them to harden before taking the fresh cheese with us. We will also learn how to make cured cheese and cottage cheese from leftover whey that can be made at home.
At 6 pm, we'll conclude the workshop.
