Cheese & Yoghurt Workshop in Puerto Inca

We'll begin our trip by meeting at 8 am at the Hospedaje Los Incas to start this gastronomic experience.

First, we'll head to a family dairy in Puerto Inca where the cows, from which we'll obtain the milk, are kept. On arrival, we'll receive an introduction on cow care and milking methods.

After the milking activity, we'll take a break for lunch. Soon after, we'll attend a master class on preserving milk and its derivatives to begin our next activity. We'll prepare the milk collected from the cows and make cheese and yoghurt the traditional way, using non-packaged crops, additives, and chemicals.

After packing the dairy products, we will wait for them to harden before taking the fresh cheese we have prepared with us. We will learn how to make a delicious cured cheese and how to make cottage cheese with the leftover whey, which you can replicate at home!

At 6 pm, we'll conclude the workshop.
