Trip to the Widow's Cave

We will meet at 8 am at the Hospedaje Los Incas to commence the excursion to the cave and ravine of La Viuda, located 3 miles from Puerto Inca.

The first stop will be the cave of La Viuda, which features mysterious pre-Inca engravings. We will walk through the vegetation while observing these ancient bas-reliefs.

Following the cave visit, we will proceed to the ravine of La Viuda, a natural spa with crystal waters. Here, you will have free time for activities such as swimming or fishing.

At 12:30 pm, we will reconvene for lunch, after which you can explore the Amazon rainforest environment. After a full day, we will return to Puerto Inca, arriving by 4 pm.

If you wish to participate in a gold search in the Viuda cave, you can book this option. We will use the bateo method, a pre-Hispanic technique involving filling a container with sand and gravel and submerging it in water. The activity will follow the cave visit, and once the hunt concludes, you will join the group for lunch.
