Do you have official diving certification and want to explore the seabed of Puerto Lopez? Stingrays, sea turtles, moray eels, hundreds of fish and many other species of aquatic fauna await you in this area of Ecuador!

Diving in Puerto López

At 8 am we'll meet at the Piedra del Mar hotel, where you can try on your wetsuit before starting the aquatic adventure. Afterwards, we'll walk to the beach of Puerto Lopez and board a boat that will take us across the waters of Salango Cove. During the sailing, we'll assist you with the diving equipment and explain the safety rules to follow during the activity.

We'll conduct a total of two dives, each lasting approximately 45 minutes. You'll have the opportunity to admire the seabed of Puerto Lopez and swim with huge manta rays. During the dives, you'll encounter sea turtles, moray eels, anemones, fish and many other species of aquatic flora and fauna.

We'll conclude the activity at 5 pm, returning to the starting point.

Necessary Documentation

To participate in this diving trip, possessing the International Open Water certificate or similar that confirms your preparedness for this activity is required.
