Isla de la Plata Excursion

At the indicated time, we will meet at the dock of Puerto Lopez to board a boat. After approximately 2 hours of sailing, we will arrive at Isla de la Plata within Machalilla National Park.

This protected area consists of one terrestrial and one marine zone and is home to the only coral reefs in Ecuador.

During the trip, a local guide will provide explanations as we admire the landscape, including sea birds, rock formations, and cliffs. Upon arrival on the island, we will stroll to observe the endemic fauna and flora, also known as the Little Galapagos.

After the walk, we will enjoy a picnic lunch consisting of a sandwich, two seasonal fruits, mineral water, and soda. Post-lunch, we will board the boat to a spot ideal for snorkeling, where we can see various coral reefs and marine species due to its crystalline waters.

We will conclude the excursion with our return to the dock of Puerto Lopez, arriving 9 hours after departure.
