Los Frailes & Agua Blanca Bike Tour

We'll meet at the indicated time at Malecón Julio Izurieta to start this bike tour of Los Frailes Beach and Agua Blanca. After introductions, bicycles will be distributed, and we'll begin our ride to Los Frailes Beach, located in Machalilla National Park, one of the first protected areas in Ecuador. We will follow a 3-kilometer (1.8-mile) trail to the reserve, where you will have half an hour to enjoy the beach.

Next, we will continue to La Tortuguita, another black sand beach surrounded by tropical forest. Our following stop is the ancestral community of Agua Blanca, where we will have a delicious lunch with a starter, a main course, and a drink. After lunch, we will visit the Archaeological Museum of Agua Blanca for a guided tour.

We will conclude the day in a natural pool with medicinal properties due to its volcanic waters, where you can relax and take a dip. The bike tour will finish with a return ride to the meeting point in Puerto López, with an estimated duration of six and a half to seven hours.
