Los Frailes Beach Tour

At 9 am, we will meet at the Hotel Piedra del Mar in Puerto Lopez. The trip takes us to Machalilla National Park, specifically to Los Frailes, known for its spectacular beach. Enjoy a day full of adventure!

During the journey, we will provide interesting facts about the park, which is a protected area safeguarding the last dry forest reserves. Los Frailes features white sand and calm waters ideal for relaxation.

You will have approximately three hours of free time to enjoy swimming, walking the trails, or exploring the forest and viewpoints.

After four hours, we will return to your hotel in Puerto Lopez at 1 pm.

Los Frailes Beach + Agua Blanca Community Tour

For a more comprehensive experience, this option includes a visit to the Agua Blanca community. The morning itinerary remains the same. At 1 pm, we will travel to the indigenous population within Machalilla National Park.

Here, with the guide, we will visit the Agua Blanca museum to view items from the Manteña, Huancavilca, and other civilizations prior to the Incas.

After this, we will walk through the dry forest to a sulphurous water lagoon for a beneficial dip. Finally, we will return to Puerto López at 3 pm.
