Los Frailes Beach Tour

White sandy beaches, crystal clear and calm waters, paradise-like landscapes, and an indigenous community. This excursion includes a visit to Los Frailes beach and Machalilla National Park.

Los Frailes Beach Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet at the Hotel Piedra del Mar in Puerto Lopez. We will then travel to Machalilla National Park, focusing on Los Frailes, which features white sand and calm waters. The journey will include information about the park, a protected area housing the last dry forest reserves.

You will have about three hours of free time to relax, swim, walk the trails, or explore the forest and viewpoints.

After four hours, we will return to your hotel in Puerto Lopez at 1 pm.

Los Frailes Beach + Agua Blanca Community Tour

This option includes a visit to the Agua Blanca community. The morning schedule remains the same, and at 1 pm, we will head to the indigenous population within Machalilla National Park.

During the visit, we will tour the Agua Blanca museum to view pieces from the Manteña, Huancavilca and other civilizations. We will also walk through the dry forest to a sulphurous water lagoon for a therapeutic swim. We will conclude the tour and return to Puerto López at 3 pm.
