Machalilla National Park Horseback Ride

At the appointed time we'll meet at Malecón Julio Izurieta & Eloy Alfaro in Puerto López, where we'll board a vehicle to take us to Machalilla National Park, one of the largest protected areas on the coast of Ecuador.

Upon arrival, we'll meet the horses for the horseback ride through Machalilla, trotting along trails and observing the native flora and fauna. This reserve includes a variety of mammals, some of which are rare along the Ecuadorian coast.

We'll ride to the beach, where we may see bird species such as boobies and gannets, along with reptiles like sea turtles. We may also spot humpback whales and dolphins during our journey.

After covering about 5 kilometers (3.1 miles), we'll conclude the ride and a vehicle will return us to Puerto López, with an arrival scheduled three and a half hours after the tour begins.
