San Sebastián Rainforest Excursion

After picking you up at the indicated time at the meeting point in Puerto López or Montañita, we'll begin this excursion to the San Sebastián rainforest. Ready to enter a unique natural landscape in Manabí?

We'll get into a vehicle and travel until we reach Río Blanco, where we begin a 3.5-hour hike through the San Sebastián rainforest.

During the hike, we'll see various birds and the flora of Machalilla National Park, which resembles the Amazon rainforest. It is an important site of biological regeneration within the Choco-Manabi Binational Corridor.

Be on the lookout for howler monkeys, guans, guantas, deer, and a variety of insects. The rainforest is home to more than 150 endemic species.

Around 1:45 pm, we'll take a break for a delicious lunch consisting of a starter, a main course, and a drink.

We will conclude the excursion by returning you to the meeting point, with arrival scheduled between six and eight hours later, depending on your tour ending point.
