Estancia San Lorenzo Trip and Whale Watching

At 7:15 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in downtown Puerto Madryn and head to Peninsula Valdes. There, we will take a tour by truck to the San Lorenzo estancia, known for its colony of Magellanic penguins.

We will learn about the behavior, diet, and characteristics of these animals while trekking through the penguin colony of Estancia San Lorenzo with our guide. After the trek, you will have one hour free for lunch at the estancia.

Post lunch, we will continue by truck through the Valdés Peninsula in the Punta Norte area, a good location for sighting Atlantic orcas, though sightings cannot be guaranteed. The tour proceeds to Puerto Piramides, where you will have two hours free for a snack or a walk.

You may use your free time for a boat ride at sunset to watch southern whales. This time is ideal, as the whales are active near the coast, feeding on crustaceans.

After the free time, we will regroup in Puerto Pirámides to return to Puerto Madryn, with arrival at your hotel scheduled for 7:15 pm.
