Day Trip Details
After departing from your hotel in Puerto Madryn, we will head to Gaiman, a town known for its Welsh presence in South America. In this municipality, along the banks of the Chubut River, we will visit the first Welsh house, built in 1874, showcasing "British style."
We will explore the city's history through its main square, featuring carved trees and an irrigation canal. We will also see the Welsh legacy in the railway tunnel and the old chapels established by settlers from across the Atlantic.
Following this, we will visit a traditional establishment in Gaiman for those interested in experiencing a typical tea with Welsh cakes.
