Puerto Madryn 4x4 Tour

If you want to discover the charming corner of Puerto Madryn in a fun and different way, then this 4x4 tour is perfect for you. We'll make our way from Punta de Cuevas until we reach the sea lion settlement and much more!

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Madryn to begin this 4x4 tour.

We'll first travel towards Punta Cuevas (Curva del Indio), the site where the Welsh first settled in Argentina in the 19th century. The history of this settlement will be discussed.

Next, we’ll explore the Punta Loma Reserve, a protected natural area. We will make three stops on the outskirts to enjoy views of the sea and potentially spot sea lions.

Afterwards, we will visit Paraná Beach, offering a view of the wreck of the Folías Ship, which shipwrecked here on December 27, 1980 due to a fire that occurred four days prior.

Finally, we will head to Cerro Avanzado, where we will have a brief discussion on geology and local sea fossils, followed by an aperitif of coffee or tea and biscuits.

At the end of the 3.5-hour tour, we will return to the starting point.
