At around 2 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel in central Puerto Montt and we'll head north towards our first destination: Llanquihue.

There, we'll see the source of the Maullin River and learn some interesting facts about the old Settlers' Route. Did you know that this town is known for its jerky? We'll soon discover why. Also, we'll visit Lake Llanquihue, the second-largest lake in Chile.

Our next stop will be Frutillar, a German village where we'll find traditional wooden Bavarian houses and also learn about the Frutillar Music Weeks and why it has become the music capital of the country.

As we explore its colorful streets and observe its manicured gardens, we'll enjoy unparalleled views of the Puntiagudo and Osorno volcanoes. Also, if you wish, you can visit the German Colonial Museum and admire the Teatro del Lago, one of the most important in all of South America.

Lastly, we'll be on our way back to Puerto Montt, arriving at your hotel at 6:30 pm approximately.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Your experience begins with a pickup at your hotel in central Puerto Montt around 2 pm. If you are staying outside the city center, you can join the tour at the designated meeting point: entrance to the Hotel Ibis (Diego Portales 1001, 5480000 Puerto Montt, Los Lagos).
