Pick-up is at 9:30 am from your hotel in Puerto Montt, followed by a journey south to Alerce Andino National Park.

Upon arrival, the hiking adventure begins in this protected natural area. Enjoy the sounds of endemic birds and explore various botanical species including hazelnut trees, myrtles, coihues, and ulmos.

The trail is approximately 4 kilometers long, leading to the Saltos del Chaica, where you can experience impressive waterfalls. An hour of free time is provided for swimming and picnicking in nature.

Afterward, there is a final climb of 100 meters to see the ancient thousand-year-old larch tree, which stands at 75 meters high. The hike concludes with a return to the starting point.

Finally, the minibus will return you to your hotel in Puerto Montt by 4 pm.
