Standing tall on the shore of Lake Llanquihue, Osorno Volcano is one of the most famous peaks in the Chilean Andes - explore it on this day trip!

After picking you up from your hotel in central Puerto Montt at 8:30 am, we'll head to Lake Llanquihue, beginning a route along the shore to explore the natural landscapes of Osorno Volcano.

We will continue around the lake until reaching the town of Ensenada, where we'll enter Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. Inside this protected area, we will start our ascent to the Osorno Volcano ski station.

Along the route, we'll see the volcano crater and enjoy panoramic views of the River Pertohué valley and surrounding volcanoes. You'll learn about the origins of Lake Llanquihue as we climb the slopes of the volcano.

Upon reaching the ski station, you'll have about an hour of free time to relax and enjoy views from the cafeteria, or you can take the Osorno ski lift independently. You can ascend to 1450 meters on the first stretch, and up to 1750 meters on the second for breathtaking lake views.

Finally, we will return to Puerto Montt, arriving around 1:30 pm.
