The Patagonian nature of the Chilean region of Los Lagos captivates visitors from the moment they arrive. On this day trip from Puerto Montt, we'll see the beauty of its landscapes and visit the hot springs of Termas del Sol.
Day Trip Details
At 7:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Montt for an excursion through the Chilean Lake District. We'll start by heading to Ralún, located in the Reloncaví estuary at the mouth of the Petrohué River. Here, we'll take a scenic route to see the lush endemic forest of Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, situated in the foothills of the Andes.
Next, we stop in Cochamó, surrounded by the Valdivian rainforest. After enjoying its landscapes, we'll head to Puelo to visit the Termas del Sol, a prominent thalassotherapy center in the Los Lagos region.
You will have three hours of free time at the thermal center, featuring a large set of outdoor pools. Water temperatures range from 36 to 45 degrees Celsius (96 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit), sourced from a thermal spring that reaches 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit). After enjoying the springs, you may dine at the resort's restaurant.
Finally, we will return to your hotel in Puerto Montt, arriving at 5:30 pm.
