The Patagonian nature of the Chilean region of Los Lagos captivates visitors from the moment they arrive. On this excursion from Puerto Montt, we'll see the beauty of its landscapes & visit the hot springs of Termas del Sol.

Termas del Sol Excursion

At 7:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Montt to embark on an excursion through the Chilean Lake District. The tour begins in Ralún, a town at the mouth of the Petrohué River. A scenic route will showcase the endemic forest of Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, providing captivating landscapes. The next stop is in Cochamó, surrounded by the Valdivian rainforest, before heading to Puelo to visit the Termas del Sol, a notable thalassotherapy center in the Los Lagos region.

You'll have three hours of free time at the thermal center, which features outdoor pools with water temperatures between 36 and 45 degrees Celsius (96 and 113 degrees Fahrenheit), sourced from a thermal spring reaching 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit). After relaxing, you can dine in the resort's restaurant. We'll return to your hotel in Puerto Montt by 5:30 pm.
