Amazon and Santa Teresita Community Trip

At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Nariño by motorbike and drive to the pier. There, we will board a boat and head to Santa Teresita.

We will sail for half an hour along the Loretoyacu River, a tributary of the Amazon used by riverside communities for transporting goods and passengers. If fortunate, we may see some indigenous boats.

Upon arrival at the community of Santa Teresita, families will welcome us and share their important stories and legends. This cultural encounter is memorable.

The guide and local inhabitants will then lead us into the depths of the Amazon rainforest. During this portion of the excursion, we will experience the lush jungle vegetation and wildlife up close.

After three hours of hiking through the Colombian jungle, we will return by boat to Puerto Nariño, dropping you off at the pier at 12 pm.
