Cacao Island and San Antonio Community Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Nariño at your chosen time to begin the excursion to Cacao Island. This destination is known in the Amazon region for its indigenous community and cuisine.

At the port, we will take a boat across the Amazon and travel for 20 minutes, appreciating the jungle landscapes and the exotic wildlife on the riverbanks, until we reach the community of San Antonio.

You will discover the customs of the local people, view their constructions, and learn about the cultural differences between Colombians and Peruvians. This experience is educational.

We will tour the lands around the community and explore the jungle of Cacao Island, learning about its fauna and flora. You may see the giant ceiba roots and, potentially, encounter some friendly sloths.

After a four-hour excursion, we will return to Puerto Nariño and drop you off at the departure pier.
