Hiking in Amacayacu National Park
At 9 am, we'll meet at the door of your hotel in Puerto Nariño to begin an exciting hiking route. We'll set off along the eco-road that'll take us deep into the jungle of the Amacayacu National Natural Park.
Our route through the Colombian Amazon jungle will be just over 4 miles, walking along the impressive wooden bridge of the park. During the hike, there will be opportunities to see various animals and plants unique to this area.
The end of our trekking route will be at a Tikuna indigenous community, where we'll enjoy a traditional lunch with the inhabitants. After lunch, we will return to Puerto Nariño, this time via a boat ride.
Keep your eyes peeled, as we may encounter freshwater dolphins while sailing along the river. We will finally arrive at Puerto Nariño at 4 pm.
