Explore the waters of the Golfo Nuevo onboard a kayak while discovering the amazing sea lions that live here! You will see these mammals up close in their natural habitat.

Kayak Tour and Sea Lion Sighting

At the appointed time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Pirámides and set out for Puerto Pirámides. We will stop at the Istmo Ameghino interpretation center to learn about the Valdés Peninsula.

We will arrive at the estancia where the kayaks are located, equip ourselves with the necessary equipment, and review safety rules.

After preparation, we will walk to the beach and start paddling in Golfo Nuevo. Enjoy views of the coast as we approach a colony of sea lions, which will appear unexpectedly in the sea.

We will discuss the main differences between seals and sea lions and share facts about how poaching has threatened these mammals.

After the encounter, we will paddle back for a picnic lunch including a chicken sandwich, a piece of fruit, a cereal bar, and water.

We will conclude the activity and drop you off at your hotel after approximately 6 hours.
