Explore the waters of the Golfo Nuevo onboard a kayak while discovering the sea lions that live here! You will see these mammals up close in their natural habitat.

Kayak Tour and Sea Lion Sighting

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Pirámides and proceed to Puerto Pirámides. A stop will be made at the Istmo Ameghino interpretation center to learn about the Valdés Peninsula.

We will then head to the estancia where the kayaks are located. You will be equipped with necessary gear and provided with safety rules for the activity.

Once prepared, we will walk to the beach and begin paddling in Golfo Nuevo. We will see a colony of sea lions while enjoying views of the coast. Fascinating facts about these mammals, including the differences between seals and sea lions, will be shared. We will also discuss the impact of poaching on their populations.

After interacting with the sea lions, we will return to the estancia for a picnic lunch consisting of a chicken sandwich, fruit, a cereal bar, and water.

We will conclude the activity and drop you off at your hotel approximately 6 hours after the start.
