Day Trip Details

Following pickup from your hotel in Puerto Plata, we will travel by minibus 20km south to the 27 charcos of Damajagua. This area features a series of natural pools formed by waterfalls that create caves suitable for swimming, jumping, and sliding. Highlights include "La Tinajita" waterfall and the "La Virgen" waterfall, which is tied to an ancient Taino legend. After swimming, a buffet lunch will be provided. We will then visit the Imbert Falls and a local plantation to learn about regional cuisine, concluding with a stop at a petrified woodcraft shop. The full excursion lasts seven hours, culminating with return to your hotel.
