Puerto Plata Buggy Tour

On this buggy tour, you'll discover the north of the Dominican Republic in an adventure-packed way.

Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and head to the town of Muñoz via minibus. After a safety briefing and gearing up with the necessary equipment, we will start the buggy tour in the northern jungle.

The first stretch takes us to a farm in Bulula for a quick stop to enjoy a countryside coffee.

Next, we will cross a landscape of palm and mahogany trees, farmlands, and scenic seaside views, historically used as a refuge by the Pirates of the Caribbean.

Our next stop will be Bergantín Beach, where you'll have 30 minutes to enjoy the waters before returning to Muñoz and back to your hotel, arriving 2.5 hours after the pickup.

Requirements

To drive the buggy, you must be over 18 years old. Children aged 3 to 17 may only be passengers.The 4-person buggies accommodate one driver and three passengers, who may take turns driving if they meet the requirements.

This activity includes pickup in Puerto Plata, Sosúa, and Cabarete, with specific areas in Puerto Plata being Playa Dorada, Costa Dorada, Puerto Taino Bay, Centro, Amber Cove Port, and Hacienda Lifestyle.
