If you've got a sweet tooth, you'll love our Puerto Plata Cacao Tour! You'll learn all about how chocolate is made in the Dominican Republic as we visit a chocolate hacienda and take a tour of the city.

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel and set off on our cacao tour of Puerto Plata.

We'll begin at the Hacienda Cufa in the heart of the country's forest to learn how cacao is grown and produced. We'll observe the cacao pods, discover the care of the cacao tree, and learn about collection methods.

As part of this process, we'll receive a chocolate facial treatment to experience the natural benefits of cacao on your skin. Additionally, we will prepare a treat in a workshop for you to try later.

Before leaving the hacienda, we'll enjoy a traditional Dominican lunch. Following our meal, we'll visit the Amber Museum in Puerto Plata's city center, where we'll see Dominican amber stones, including some with fossils.

We will then stroll along the Doña Blanca promenade, also known as the Pink Street (Calle Rosa), and explore the charming umbrella street.

After admiring the Cathedral, we'll return to your hotel and conclude the tour at 3 pm.
