Puerto Plata Cacao Tour
At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel for the cacao tour in Puerto Plata. The tour begins at the Hacienda Cufa, where you will learn about how cacao is grown and produced. Discover the care of cacao trees and the collection of cacao pods.
During the visit, you will experience a chocolate facial treatment to enjoy the natural benefits of cacao on your skin. Following this, you will participate in a workshop to prepare a sweet treat to taste later. Before departing the hacienda, a traditional Dominican lunch will be provided.
After lunch, we will head to Puerto Plata and visit the Amber Museum in the city center, where you will see notable Dominican amber stones, some with fossils. Next, we will stroll along the Doña Blanca promenade, known as the Pink Street (Calle Rosa), and explore the charming umbrella street.
After visiting the Cathedral, we will return to your hotel, concluding the tour at 3 pm.
