Details of the Catamaran Excursion

Your adventure commences with a pickup from your accommodation in Puerto Plata at a pre-arranged time. We will then proceed to the dock of La Isabela, where we’ll board our spacious catamaran for a sailing experience on the Caribbean’s stunningly clear waters.

Let the journey begin! As we sail along the north coast of the Dominican Republic, we will head towards La Ensenada Beach. Upon arrival at this idyllic locale, you’ll have the chance to take a refreshing dip in a natural pool filled with crystalline waters. Enjoy sliding down the catamaran’s water slide and sipping on some cider.

Our next destination will be Isla Bonita, also known as Cayo Arena. You’ll have a generous two-hour period to snorkel and swim among vibrant corals and fish in this picturesque setting.

Following our time at Cayo Arena, our catamaran will glide through the mangroves of the Monte Cristi National Park. We will then dock at the beach of Punta Rucia, right in front of a seafront restaurant. Here, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch while soaking in the tranquil sea views.

After dining, we will visit a local Dominican artisan cigar factory. This is a fantastic opportunity to observe the cigar-making process and sample this cherished product. If you wish, you can purchase cigars or souvenirs before concluding our tour.

In the end, we will make our way back to your hotel in Puerto Plata, arriving approximately 11 hours after your initial pickup.
