Puerto Plata Scooter Tour

On this scooter tour around Puerto Plata, we'll discover the coastal destination in a fun and original way.

Description

Our adventure will begin at the Amber Cove Cruise Park cruise terminal, where we'll hop on our scooters and receive guidelines for the tour. We will explore Puerto Plata, making stops at iconic locations such as the Macorix House of Rum for rum tasting, Independence Park, and San Felipe Fort, a historical site used for city protection against pirates.

We will visit Calle Paraguas, a colorful pedestrian street, and the Paseo de Doña Blanca. Next, we will proceed to the Fifi Jewelry Amber Museum to learn about the amber stone of the Dominican Republic.

Our final stop will be the Del Oro Chocolate Factory, where you will learn about organic Dominican cacao production and sample various chocolates. After this, we will arrive at Puerto Plata Beach, where you will enjoy free time for swimming and relaxing on the sand.

After 3.5 hours, we will return to the starting point on our scooters.

To drive the scooters, you must hold a valid driving license. If you do not have one, you may only participate as a passenger.
