Description
The adventure begins at the Amber Cove Cruise Park cruise terminal where participants will receive guidelines before setting off on scooters. The tour includes stops at various iconic locations in Puerto Plata, including the Macorix House of Rum for rum tastings, Independence Park, and San Felipe Fort, which served to protect the city from pirates.
Other stops include Calle Paraguas, a vibrant pedestrian street, and the Paseo de Doña Blanca. Participants will also visit the Fifi Jewelry Amber Museum to learn about the amber stone of the Dominican Republic.
The tour concludes with a visit to the Del Oro Chocolate Factory, where you can explore the process of organic Dominican cacao and sample various chocolates. The final stop will be Puerto Plata Beach, allowing free time for swimming and relaxation. The total duration of the tour is 3.5 hours, after which we will return to the starting point.
Requirements
To drive the scooters, a valid driving license is required. Participants without a license may join as passengers.
