Drive Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Plata in a stunning vintage car to explore the streets of this fascinating coastal city. Seatbelts fastened? Let's drive!

We'll make our way to Puerto Plata's historical centre and drive past the central park, also known as Independence Square. We'll also admire the facades of historical buildings, such as the Cathedral of St. Philip the Apostle, the Town Hall, and the Casa de la Cultura. Are your cameras ready?

Afterwards, we'll make our way down the colourful alleyways called Umbrella Street and Doña Blanca, also known as Rosy Alleyway. Can you guess why they're called this? We'll be surrounded by hundreds of umbrellas in one, and in the other, there won’t be a single corner that isn't painted pink. Don't forget to take pictures!

This vintage car drive will then take us to the Malecón area. Once we're here, we'll be able to admire the immense Puerto Plata Bay from the car while we make our way to the Fortaleza de San Felipe. This intimidating fortress will greet us with incredible views from the hill La Puntilla de Malecón.

Lastly, we'll hop into the car once more to begin our journey back to your hotel, where we'll say our goodbyes 1 hour after pickup.

Hotel pickup and drop–off services are included in this activity for those staying in the centre of Puerto Plata. If your hotel is in the areas of Cofresi and Dorada Beach, you'll have to pay an additional fee of 30USD on the day of the activity.
