Ziplining in Monkeyland

At 7:15 am, pickup from your hotel in Puerto Plata is via a safari truck. After a 45-minute drive, arrive at Monkeyland in northern Dominican Republic.

First, meet the monkeys native to the park, known for their playfulness. A short safety briefing will follow, and you will receive helmets and harnesses before starting the zipline circuit.

The course includes seven zip lines where you'll glide at high speed. The pulleys are between two platforms, 50 feet (16 metres) high, offering exceptional views of the jungle and Caribbean landscape.

After the zipline circuit, enjoy fresh tropical fruits along with juices and soft drinks. Return to your hotel in Puerto Plata by 1:30 pm.

Who can do this activity?

The minimum age for participation is 8 years old. Weight must be between 60 pounds (27 kilograms) and 300 pounds (136 kilograms) with a waist size not exceeding 50 inches (127 centimetres).

For safety, children under 12 may only access up to zip line number 8, waiting in the reception area with staff until adults complete the activity.
