Ziplining in Monkeyland

At 7:15 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Plata in a safari truck. After a 45-minute drive, we'll arrive at Monkeyland, a place rich in adventure and nature in the northern Dominican Republic.

First, we'll meet the monkeys native to the park. These friendly animals are accustomed to interaction with people. Next, we'll receive a short safety briefing and put on our helmets and harnesses before starting the zipline circuit.

The course consists of seven zip lines that you'll navigate at full speed. The pulleys are situated between two platforms that are 50 feet (16 metres) high, providing fantastic views of the jungle and Caribbean wilderness.

After completing the zipline circuit, we'll enjoy fresh tropical fruits with juices and soft drinks. We'll then return to your hotel in Puerto Plata, arriving at 1:30 pm.

Who can do this activity?

The minimum age for participation is 8 years old. Participants must weigh between 60 pounds (27 kilograms) and 300 pounds (136 kilograms). Waist sizes must not exceed 50 inches (127 centimetres).

Children under 12 years will be allowed to reach zip line number 8 but will wait in the reception area with staff dedicated to assisting them.
