Mascota & Talpa de Allende Excursion

On this excursion from Puerto Vallarta, we will visit two Magical Towns in the state of Jalisco: Mascota and Talpa de Allende. The tour begins at 7:30 am with a pickup from your hotel. Our first stop will be in the small town of La Estancia for a typical Mexican breakfast.

After breakfast, we will head to Mascota, where we will explore the historic center and its colonial architecture. We will visit important landmarks including the church of Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores, the Municipal Palace, and the unfinished church of the Precious Blood. The tour will include an overview of the impact of the Mexican Revolution on this construction.

Our next stop will be Talpa de Allende, where you will have 1 hour and 20 minutes for lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, a guided tour will take us to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Talpa, a major pilgrimage site established in 1782, showcasing both Gothic and Churrigueresque architectural styles.

The excursion will conclude with our return to the minibus and drop-off at your hotel at approximately 8:30 pm.
