Puerto Vallarta Culture Tour
At 8:20 am, we will pick you up from your hotel and head to the marina to start the tour.
We will first visit a tile mosaic mural created by artist Natasha Moraga, followed by the El Salado Estuary, a protected area of mangroves and marshes, where we may see crocodiles.
Next, we will go to the waterfront to see the Boy on the Seahorse statue and the Malecon Arches, then continue to Cuale Island to explore areas dedicated to art, dance, folklore, and Mexican culture.
We will stop at a typical bakery to try a local delicacy and then visit a jewelry workshop specializing in fire opals and silver casting. The tour continues to a private viewpoint near Conchas Chinas beach for views of Banderas Bay and photo opportunities.
We will also explore Las Juntas y Los Veranos and visit Bastón del Rey Tequila Distillery to learn about tequila production, with a tasting included.
The tour concludes with a visit to the river to admire the jungle, and there is an option to try a typical dish at a local restaurant. Pickup will be at 2:20 pm to return to your location.
