Sail along the lakes of the Andean Lakes and cross the mountains to Argentina. This Andean crossing is an adventure not to be missed during your trip to South America.
Andean Lakes Crossing
We'll meet at the meeting point in Puerto Varas at 8 am and set off eastbound along Lake Llanquihue.
Next, we'll board a ferry to sail across Lake Todos los Santos, admiring the Osorno Volcano and the Andes peaks.
After approximately 2 hours, we'll arrive at Villa Peulla, where you will have 2 hours of free time for lunch and to explore the town and its waterfalls. Afterward, we will continue our journey, crossing the border through the Vicente Perez Rosales International Pass, at nearly 1,000 meters (3,300 feet) above sea level.
We will arrive at the pier of Puerto Frias, where we will board the catamaran to sail across Lake Felix Frias and Lake Nahuel Huapi, enjoying the beauty of mountains, forests, and volcanoes until we reach Bariloche, known as the capital of Argentine tourism.
After an amazing 12 hours, we will return to the city center, concluding our experience.
Return to Puerto Varas
When making the reservation, choose whether to book a one-way journey to Bariloche or the return journey to Puerto Varas as well. If you select the latter, indicate the desired date for the return trip to Puerto Varas. Chilean and Argentinian residents pay only for the one-way journey, as the return is free for them.
