Sail along the lakes of the Andean Lakes and cross the mountains to Argentina. This Andean crossing is an adventure not to be missed during your trip to South America.
Andean Lakes Crossing
Meet in Puerto Varas at the designated time to start an eastbound trip along Lake Llanquihue.
We will then take a ferry across Lake Todos los Santos, viewing the Osorno Volcano and other Andes peaks. After about 2 hours, we will arrive at Villa Peulla, where you'll have 2 hours of free time for lunch and exploration of the town, including nearby waterfalls. Following this, we will cross the border via the Vicente Perez Rosales International Pass, at almost 1,000 meters (3,300 feet) above sea level.
At the pier of Puerto Frias, we will board a catamaran to sail across Lake Felix Frias and Lake Nahuel Huapi, enjoying landscapes of mountains, forests, and volcanoes until we reach Bariloche, the capital of Argentine tourism. After an incredible 12 hours, we will return to the city center, concluding the experience.
