Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Varas at 8 am and head to the port for a cruise along the Chacao Canal. This area in Chile boasts a great variety of birds; see how many you can spot on the journey!

After sailing for just 30 minutes, we'll arrive at the port of Chacao on Chiloé Island. Here, you'll see the church and the main square. We will also visit the town of Castro, known for its colorful houses.

Unique wooden houses, known as the Gamboa River Palafitos Stilt Houses, are built on stilts above the water, showcasing impressive originality.

Next, we will visit the Church of Nercón, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our last stop will be in Dalcahue, where we will explore the craft market and, depending on selection, the Ethnographic Historic Museum. You will have 1 hour of free time for lunch.

We will return to Puerto Varas, dropping you off at your hotel around 7 pm.
