Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Varas at 8 am and head to the port to start a cruise along the Chacao Canal. This area has a significant variety of birds; see how many you can spot during the journey.

After sailing for 30 minutes, we'll arrive at the port of Chacao on Chiloé Island. Here, you'll see the church and main square. Next, we'll visit the town of Castro, known for its colorful houses.

We'll view unique wooden houses built on stilts above the water, known as the Gamboa River Palafitos Stilt Houses, showcasing their originality.

The tour continues to the Church of Nercón, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our final stop will be in Dalcahue, where we will visit the craft market and, depending on selection, the Ethnographic Historic Museum. You will have 1 hour of free time for lunch.

We'll return to Puerto Varas and drop you off at your hotel around 7 pm.
