Chiloé Island Day Trip: Chacao, Castro y Dalcahue

Pickup from your hotel in Puerto Varas begins at 8 am, proceeding to the port for a cruise along the Chacao Canal, known for its diverse bird life. After a 30-minute sail, we will arrive at the port of Chacao on Chiloé Island, where you will see the church and main square. We will then visit the town of Castro, recognized for its colorful houses.

You will have approximately one hour for lunch in Castro. Afterward, we will head to the Gamboa River Palafitos Stilt Houses, notable for their unique construction above the water. Next, we will visit the Church of Nercón, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our final stop will be in Dalcahue, where we will explore the craft market and, if chosen, the Ethnographic Historic Museum (entrance not included).

We will return to Puerto Varas, dropping you back at your hotel around 7 pm.
