Chiloé Island Day Trip: Chacao, Castro y Dalcahue

Pickup from your hotel in Puerto Varas will be at 8 am, followed by a cruise along the Chacao Canal. This area is known for its diverse bird population. After a 30-minute sail, we will arrive at the port of Chacao on Chiloé Island, where you can explore the church and main square. Next, visit the town of Castro to see its colorful houses. You will have approximately one hour for lunch in Castro.

Following lunch, we will visit the Gamboa River Palafitos Stilt Houses, notable for their unique construction. Next is the Church of Nercón, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our final stop will be Dalcahue, where we'll explore the craft market and the Ethnographic Historic Museum (entry not included).

We will return to Puerto Varas and drop you off at your hotel around 7 pm.
