Puerto Varas, Nueva Braunau & Lahuen Ñadi Tour
After hotel pickup at the appointed time, we'll begin the tour in Puerto Varas, known as the City of Roses. The first stop will be a viewpoint with vistas of Lake Llanquihue, followed by a stroll through the historic center of Puerto Varas, where we'll learn about its 19th-century history.
We'll see the old quarter and the exterior of notable buildings, including the Baroque Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, reminiscent of a temple in the German region of Baden-Württemberg.
Next, we'll travel by minibus to Nueva Braunau, famous for its dairy farms. Here, we'll visit the Antonio Felmer Museum, showcasing artifacts from the area's settlers.
We will then approach the Lahuen Ñadi Natural Monument for a walk through its larch forest, where we may spot birds like the black woodpecker and black-throated huet-huet, as well as mammals such as the pudú and gray fox.
After a short hike, we will head to the Angelmó market in Puerto Montt, which features stalls of fruits, vegetables, fresh fish, and handicraft kiosks for souvenirs.
We expect to finish the activity between 3:30 pm and 4 pm, returning you to your hotel.
