Join us for a day in nature on this day trip to the Reloncavi estuary and Tagua Tagua Lake. We'll visit charming villages like Cochamó while enjoying the beautiful Chilean landscape.
Day Trip Details
Between 7:30 and 8 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel and drive to the small village of Caleta La Arena. Here, we'll take a ferry for a boat trip through the Reloncavi estuary.
We'll sail for 35 minutes to Caleta Puelche. Then, we will drive along the estuary to admire the surrounding mountains and valleys, passing by the town of Puelo until we reach Tagua Tagua Lake.
At Tagua Tagua Lake, you will have 2 hours free for lunch and exploration. Options include strolling along the shores or purchasing a boat ticket to see the iconic waterfall up close.
Afterward, we will head to Cochamó, learning about the history of the Huilliche people while walking through the village and viewing key sites, such as the church with its octagonal bell tower, amidst the beautiful natural surroundings.
Finally, we'll return by minibus through Ralún and along Lake Llanquihue, dropping you off at the center of Puerto Varas between 4:30 and 5 pm.
