Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle Tour
The tour to the Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle begins with a hotel pickup in Pula at 9 am. We will travel to Slovenia to visit the Postojna Cave, known as the most visited karst cave in Europe.
During our exploration of the cave, we will observe notable rock formations, including stalagmites up to 5 meters long. To navigate the cave, we will use a little train that accesses areas not reachable on foot. This unique transport will allow us to view Murano glass chandeliers, the ballroom, and the endemic olms, also referred to as 'dragon's offspring'.
The next destination is Predjama Castle, a fortress located on a cliff. We will admire the exterior before entering to explore its various rooms while learning about significant stories, including the legend of Erasmus of Predjama, identified as the Slovenian Robin Hood.
Finally, we will return to Pula, with an estimated drop-off at your hotel around 4 pm, concluding the tour.
