Options

When making your reservation, you can choose which option you prefer for your visit to the Oleo Almanzora factory. Both include a guided visit around the installations, an English-speaking guide and an oil tasting. Here are the details of each option:

Visit with oil tasting (1.5 hours)

After meeting at the Gourmet Oleo Almanzora shop, we'll start a guided tour around the farm. You'll learn about the olive tree plantation system, the care, and the harvesting of the olives. We will visit different rooms at Oleo Almanzora, including the wine cellar, packaging room, gourmet shop, and tasting room, where you'll watch a video about the process of extra virgin olive oil production. Finally, there will be an extra virgin olive oil tasting, accompanied with bread and condiments.

Visit with breakfast or a snack (2.5 hours)

This option includes everything in the previous tour, plus a breakfast or snack with typical local and seasonal products. You will learn about different oil pairings and have the opportunity to taste EVOOs with various natural aromas such as lemon, garlic, black truffle, smoked, rosemary, and chilli. Healthy dishes include fruit, cold meats, cheeses, dairy products, coffee, tea, pastries, and dried fruits, depending on the tour time.

Visit with masterclass and oil tasting (3 hours)

This option offers a guided visit followed by an extra virgin olive oil tasting master class with an expert guide. You will learn to differentiate the quality of oils, discover their attributes, and identify their distinct scents and flavours. The session ends with a tasting of all the Oleo Almanzora types of extra virgin olive oil, alongside explanations of pairings with different foods.
