Power Snorkelling

On this power snorkelling experience in Tahiti, we will use an aquatic propeller to explore the seabed of the largest island in French Polynesia.

Description

The power snorkel, or sea scooter snorkel, allows for a new snorkelling experience using an aquatic propeller. After adjusting your mask, tube, and fins, you will be ready to start.

Participants will meet at a chosen time at Marina Taina in Tahiti for equipment provisioning. After preparing the snorkelling equipment, we will travel by speedboat to a diving point to begin snorkelling, showcasing the beauty of the French Polynesian seafloor.

Options

When making your reservation, you can choose from the following options:

Punaauia Coral Reef tour (2 hours)

The Punaauia Coral Reef features crystal-clear waters. This tour offers power snorkelling with opportunities to see tropical fish, sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, barracudas, and small sharks. From August to November, dolphins and humpback whales might also be spotted.

Tahiti Lagoon tour (2 hours)

This option involves diving into the renowned Tahiti lagoon, exploring its diverse coral reefs and tropical fish, along with sunken boats from shipwrecks.

Submarine safari (4 hours)

This extended option begins with snorkelling at Punaauia Coral Reef, then moves to The Aquarium to view plane wrecks, coral reefs, and to White Valley for spotting sharks and dolphins. The adventure concludes at The Source with sights of turtles, spotted eagle rays, and a shipwreck at Mount Rae Rae.
