Power Snorkelling

On this power snorkelling experience in Tahiti, we'll use an aquatic propeller to explore the seabed of the largest island in French Polynesia.

Description

The power snorkel, also known as a sea scooter snorkel, allows you to explore the sea using an aquatic propeller. After adjusting your mask, tube, and fins, you'll be ready to begin. This activity starts at your chosen time at Marina Taina in Tahiti, where all necessary snorkelling equipment will be provided.

After gearing up, we'll depart on a speedboat to one of the diving points, where you can experience the beauty of the French Polynesian seafloor.

Options

When making your reservation, you can choose from the following options:

Punaauia Coral Reef tour (2 hours)

The Punaauia Coral Reef, located west of Tahiti, features crystal-clear waters. Here, you'll go power snorkelling to see tropical fish and sea turtles, as well as spotted eagle rays, barracudas, and small sharks. If you join between August and November, you may also encounter dolphins and humpback whales.

Tahiti Lagoon tour (2 hours)

This option involves diving into the Tahiti lagoon to explore its waters, where you will see various coral reefs and tropical fish, as well as sunken boats.

Submarine safari (4 hours)

In this extended option, we will first snorkel in Punaauia Coral Reef and then proceed to an area called The Aquarium, observing wreckages and coral reefs in Tahiti Lagoon. We'll continue to White Valley for shark and dolphin sightings, and finally immerse in The Source to see turtles and spotted eagle rays, concluding at the remains of a shipwreck near Mount Rae Rae.
