Itinerary

We will meet at the designated time at Dagadusheth Halwai Ganapati, a significant temple in Pune. A stop in front of the grand entrance will reveal details about its construction and the two marble sentinels.

Inside the temple, you will see the statue of Ganesha adorned in over forty kilos of gold. The tour will explain why this god has the body of a human and the head of an elephant.

The journey continues to five other ancient temples dedicated to Ganesha, where you will learn about its significance in Hindu culture. At each shrine, blessings and insights into the religion will be provided.

Next, we visit the oldest market in Pune, where we will browse various stalls selling a wide variety of local products.

Finally, the tour concludes in the Tulsi Baugh area.
