Description

Day 1

Your experience begins amidst the scenic landscapes of Cordoba. We will gather at the agreed time at the public stable located at the outskirts of La Falda. You will have the chance to store your belongings at a nearby lovely rural accommodation and then meet the horses that will join us on this remarkable expedition through the Cordoba hills.

To inaugurate our journey, a delightful welcome dinner awaits, featuring an assortment of tasty pizzas and refreshing beverages. Afterward, we will retreat to our comfortable cabins to recharge for the upcoming adventures.

Day 2

Following a fulfilling breakfast, we will saddle up for a thrilling 40-kilometer (25-mile) ride. Depending on your selected tour dates, we will explore one of two stunning locales: Guindos or Agua de Oro. No matter the choice, you will be greeted with panoramic views of the Cordoba mountain range. Along our path, we will pause three times to appreciate the breathtaking scenery. A snack of cheeses and cold cuts will be served, leading to a sumptuous lunch featuring pata flambeada (flambéed leg) – a genuine countryside delicacy!

After our horseback ride, we'll enjoy a hearty dinner of tender boneless ribs accompanied by sides. During this evening, a traditional folklore show by the light of a bonfire will entertain us, making it a memorable conclusion to the day.

Day 3

On our final day, we will savor breakfast before remounting our horses for the ride back to La Falda. This portion of our journey also covers 40 kilometers, with a midday break that offers cold cuts, cheeses, bread, and sandwiches to refuel our energy.

We will complete the last section on horseback, returning to the stable. Our farewell will take place back at the starting point at 6 pm, where we’ll share a final snack together.

Itinerary variations

Be aware that the itinerary of this tour will have slight variations depending on your chosen date. Days 1 and 3 typically remain consistent, while Day 2 features the primary changes in destinations.

For tours in April, the second day will include an overnight stay in Agua de Oro, passing through Alto de San Pedro while taking in the beauty of the Punilla Valley. Conversely, if you select dates in May or June, our second-day route will lead to Guindos, crossing the Ayampitín hill and enjoying views of the scenic Pintos river that exemplify the charm of the Cordoba hills.

Accommodation

This adventure includes two nights of stay in delightful mountain cabins. Accommodations are shared, with a maximum of five guests per room, and bathrooms are communal.
