3-Day Horse Riding Tour

Description

Day 1

Meet at the public trail stable near La Falda, where you can leave your luggage at a nearby rural lodging. Following an introduction to the horses, enjoy a welcome dinner with pizzas and drinks before resting in cozy cabins.

Day 2

After breakfast, embark on a 40-kilometer (25-mile) ride to either Guindos or Agua de Oro based on your booking. The ride features picturesque Cordoba mountain landscapes with three scenic stops. You’ll enjoy snacks and a traditional lunch of pata flambeada. Dinner includes boneless ribs and a traditional folklore show by a bonfire.

Day 3

The excursion concludes with breakfast and a return ride of another 40 kilometers to La Falda. You'll break for a midday meal consisting of cold cuts, cheeses, bread, and sandwiches before arriving back at the stable at 6 pm for a final snack and goodbyes.

Itinerary variations

The itinerary varies by date. Days 1 and 3 are similar, with differences on Day 2. In April, the itinerary includes a night in Agua de Oro through Alto de San Pedro. In May and June, the tour goes to Guindos, crossing the Ayampitín hill and observing the Pintos river.

Accommodation

The tour provides two nights in shared mountain cabins, accommodating a maximum of five people per room with shared bathrooms.
