3-Day Horse Riding Tour

Description

Day 1

Meet at the public trail stable on the outskirts of La Falda. Luggage can be left at a nearby rural lodging. You'll meet the horses for the journey through the Cordoba hills. The evening begins with a welcome dinner of pizzas and drinks, followed by overnight accommodation in cozy cabins.

Day 2

Following breakfast, ride for 40 kilometers (25 miles). Depending on your booking, destinations include Guindos or Agua de Oro, featuring stunning landscapes of the Cordoba mountain range. There will be three stops to enjoy the scenery, followed by a snack of cheeses and cold cuts, and a countryside lunch with pata flambeada. Dinner includes savory boneless ribs, sides, and a traditional folklore show by a bonfire.

Day 3

After breakfast, return to La Falda on horseback for another 40 kilometers, enjoying a midday meal of cold cuts, cheeses, bread, and sandwiches. The tour concludes back at the stable at 6 pm, followed by a final snack.

Itinerary variations

The itinerary may vary based on the chosen date. Days 1 and 3 are similar; the main difference is Day 2's destination. Tours in April include a night in Agua de Oro with scenic Punilla Valley, while tours in May or June lead to Guindos, crossing Ayampitín hill and viewing the Pintos river.

Accommodation

The tour includes two nights in shared mountain cabins, accommodating up to five people per room with shared bathrooms.
