Los Gigantes & Lolu Underground River Hiking Tour

Immerse yourself in the natural wonders of Cordoba, Argentina, on this hiking adventure through the majestic Los Gigantes mountain range and the enchanting Lolu Valley underground river.

What's in store:

We'll meet at 8 am at Route RP28 in Los Gigantes, preparing for a 16 km (10-mile) trek. The hike reaches altitudes of up to 2100 meters (6,890 feet) across canyons, valleys, and ravines within the Valle de los Lisos Reserve in the Los Gigantes mountain range.

The hike begins in the picturesque Anjo and Gabino valleys. We'll also encounter the Búho Ravine and the Guibra Valley, gaining insights into the region's wildlife and plant life.

Next, we'll visit the Cuchilla and Valle viewpoints for expansive views of Cordoba. After a brief break for your packed lunch, we'll explore the Lolu Valley underground river, a highlight of the journey.

To access the riverbed, we will navigate narrow rock walls, descending to depths of up to 40 meters (130 feet). This section is the most challenging due to the steep terrain.

Our adventure concludes at 6 pm as we return to the meeting point, providing memories and photos of Cordoba's natural wonders.
