On this advanced-level hike along trail 16 in the Valle de los Lisos, we will experience the natural scenery in Cordoba while engaging in canyoning.
Valle de los Lisos Hiking and Canyoning
We will meet at 8 am at route RP28 in Los Gigantes for a brief technical talk and to gather necessary materials.
After preparation, we will begin our hike, covering a distance of 19 to 21 kilometers (12-13 miles). This medium-high-difficulty trail will take approximately 8 hours to complete, ascending various peaks up to 2100 meters (6,900 feet) above sea level.
The hike traverses the rugged areas of the Valle de los Lisos Reserve in the Los Gigantes mountain range in the Argentine province of Córdoba. We will have breaks to rest, enjoy views, and eat a picnic lunch.
We will walk along trail 16, leading to the Truchas waterfall. After arrival, participants can take a refreshing dip before starting our canyoning adventure. Dressed in wetsuits and life jackets, we will navigate several rivers between narrow rock walls, testing our agility and skill.
Our day will conclude around 6 pm back at the meeting point.
