Colca Canyon 2-Day Tour

Day 1: Puno - Chivay

Pickup at your hotel in Puno will be between 6:15 and 6:30 am for the trip to Chivay, approximately 300 kilometers (186 miles) away. The journey will feature the altiplano landscape, highlighting wetlands, lagoons, streams, and plains, along with various wildlife, including vicuñas, llamas, alpacas, flamingos, and guallatas.

We will pass by Patahuasi and enter the Colca Canyon, stopping at the viewpoint of the extinct Chucura volcano, located at 4,910 meters (over 16,100 feet). Arrival in Chivay is expected between 1 and 1:30 pm, where you can have lunch at your own discretion. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at the same hotel. Free time after lunch is available to explore Chivay or its thermal baths.

Day 2: Chivay - Cruz del Condor - Chivay - Arequipa

Breakfast will be at the hotel before departing for the Cruz del Condor, the primary viewpoint of the Colca Canyon, where you will have two hours of free time. Afterward, we return to Chivay, passing through the towns of Pinchollo, Maca, and Yanque.

Upon arrival in Chivay, you have an hour for lunch, and around 1 pm, we’ll head to Arequipa, with an estimated arrival between 4:30 and 5 pm.

The tour includes one night of accommodation with breakfast in Chivay, with options including:

All accommodations will be in a double room.

Hotel Pickup

Pickup includes hotels in the center of Puno. If your location is on the outskirts, you must reach Calle Jiron Arequipa, near the Plaza de Armas. Please note that pickup is not available from several specific hotels, including GHL Lago Titicaca and any hotels on the Uros Islands.
