Copacabana & Island of the Sun Trip

Cross the border between Peru and Bolivia and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Titicaca on this fantastic trip to Copacabana and the Island of the Sun.

Tour Details

After picking you up from your hotel in Puno at the designated time, we will head by bus to the Bolivian city of Copacabana.

We will cross the border and reach our destination around 11 am. A walking tour will contemplate the facade of the Basilica of the Virgin of Candelaria, from the XVII century, highlighting its significance as a pilgrimage site.

A meal including a plate of chicken or trout and a drink will be provided. Afterward, we will proceed to the port where a boat will take us to the Island of the Sun. During the journey, views of Lake Titicaca will be available.

Upon disembarking, a guided tour of around two hours will commence, focusing on the fountain of eternal youth and the Inca culture, with visits to ancient sanctuaries.

Following our visit to the Island of the Sun, we will take the boat back to Copacabana. We will then change transport to return to Puno by bus, arriving at approximately 8:30 pm.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels located in the center of Puno. Guests from outskirts accommodations are required to go to Calle Jirón Arequipa, near Plaza de Armas.

Pickup is not available from specific hotels including GHL Lago Titicaca, Casa Andina Premium, Sonesta Posada, and other listed locations or any hotels on the Uros Islands.
