Copacabana & Island of the Sun Trip

Cross the border between Peru and Bolivia and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Titicaca on this trip to Copacabana and the Island of the Sun.

Tour Details

After hotel pickup in Puno, we will take a bus to the Bolivian city of Copacabana. Arriving around 11 am, we will have a walking tour featuring the Basilica of the Virgin of Candelaria, a notable pilgrimage site from the XVII century. We will then pause for a meal, with options of a plate of chicken or trout and a drink. Following lunch, we will board a boat to the Island of the Sun, enjoying views of Lake Titicaca during the journey.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a two-hour guided tour to explore the fountain of eternal youth and learn about the Inca culture through ancient sanctuaries. After the visit, we will return by boat to Copacabana and transfer back to Puno by bus, arriving at approximately 8:30 pm.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels located in the center of Puno. If your hotel is outside the center, you will need to reach Calle Jirón Arequipa near Plaza de Armas. Please note that pickup is not available from specific locations including GHL Lago Titicaca, Casa Andina Premium, and any hotels on the Uros Islands.
