Copacabana & Island of the Sun Trip

Cross the border between Peru and Bolivia and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Titicaca on this fantastic trip to Copacabana and the Island of the Sun.

Tour Details

After hotel pickup in Puno, we will travel by bus to Copacabana, Bolivia, arriving around 11 am. A walking tour will follow, including a visit to the Basilica of the Virgin of Candelaria from the XVII century. A meal featuring chicken or trout and a drink will be served before heading to the port for a boat ride to the Island of the Sun, where views of Lake Titicaca can be enjoyed.

Upon arrival, a guided tour lasting approximately two hours will commence, focusing on the fountain of eternal youth and the origins of Inca culture through ancient sanctuaries. After the visit, we will return by boat to Copacabana and switch to a bus for the return journey to Puno, arriving at 8:30 pm.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels located in the center of Puno. Guests staying on the outskirts must reach Calle Jirón Arequipa near Plaza de Armas on their own. Pickup is not available from specific hotels including GHL Lago Titicaca, Casa Andina Premium, Sonesta Posada, and others located on the Uros Islands.
