Tour Details

We will pick you up from your hotel and travel northeast for approximately 45 minutes to the archaeological site of Sillustani.

Situated on the shores of Lake Umayo at 13,123 feet (4,000 meters) above sea level, you will see the remarkable chullpas, tombs built in tower-like structures that appear to defy gravity. You will learn about the secrets of the ancient Colla culture and their funeral rituals while admiring the sacred Lake Umayo.

After exploring the archaeological site, we will return to your hotel in Puno, with a total trip duration of around three and a half hours.

This tour includes pickup from hotels in the center of Puno. If you are staying elsewhere, please make your way to Jiron Arequipa Street near the Plaza de Armas.
