Gothic City of Macusani Excursion

At 3 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Puno for the excursion to the Gothic City of Macusani. The journey takes 3.5 hours to reach the Abra Oquepuño, over 4,500 meters above sea level, where we will enjoy views of the Macusani Valley and make a small traditional offering to Pachamama.

Next, we will arrive in Macusani for breakfast, followed by a visit to the Kallahuaya Local Museum to learn about local cultures. Before departing, we'll stop by the main square to view the monument to San Martin and discuss its significance.

We will then proceed to the Gothic City, located at 4,815 meters above sea level. Here, we will embark on a 2-hour hike to explore the forest of stones, shaped by erosion into formations resembling temples and castles.

A picnic lunch will be provided during our visit. After the hike back to the starting point, we will conclude the day at the thermal baths of the enchanted lagoon for a relaxing experience.

Finally, we will return you to your hotel in Puno between 9 and 10 pm.
