Explore the famous 'Route of the Sun' from Puno to Cusco, visiting notable places such as Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, and Pukara.

Description

The Ruta del Sol offers a captivating journey through the south of Peru. The tour begins at Avenida Costanera with Jr. Lampa, where we will depart for the town of Pukara.

We will start by visiting the Pukara interpretation center, home of the Pukara bulls, which symbolize protection, prosperity, and fertility in southern Peru.

Next, we will ascend to La Raya pass, making a brief stop for photos at over 4300 meters above sea level.

Afterward, we will enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant before heading to the archaeological site of Raqchi to explore the remains of the ancient temple of the God Wiracocha.

Following the tour at Raqchi, we will visit the village of Andahuaylillas and the church of San Pedro Apóstol, known as the "Sistine Chapel of America."

The tour concludes in Cusco at 5 pm, returning to the meeting point.
