Explore the famous 'Route of the Sun' from Puno to Cusco, visiting notable sites in southern Peru such as Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, and Pukara.

Description

The Ruta del Sol journey through southern Peru is highly recommended. We will meet at Avenida Costanera with Jr. Lampa and proceed to Pukara. Here, we will visit the Pukara interpretation center, home of the Pukara bulls, symbols of protection and prosperity.

Next, we will continue to La Raya pass for a photo stop at over 4300 meters above sea level. A local restaurant will provide a buffet lunch before we proceed to the archaeological site of Raqchi, where we will explore the remains of the ancient temple of the God Wiracocha.

Our tour continues to the village of Andahuaylillas to visit the church of San Pedro Apóstol, known as the "Sistine Chapel of America." We will conclude the journey in Cusco, arriving by 5 pm at the meeting point.
